Account Information
- Name and email address (provided during registration or Google sign-in)
- Password (hashed and stored securely, for email-based accounts)
- Profile picture (if signing in via Google)
Business Information
- Business name, description, and operating hours
- Agent configuration details (FAQs, response templates, tone preferences)
- WhatsApp business phone number
Google Account Data
- Google Calendar access tokens (to check availability and create events)
- Gmail send access (to send appointment confirmations and reminders on your behalf)
We request only the minimum Google OAuth scopes necessary to provide appointment booking functionality. We do not read your emails or access any Google data beyond what is required.
Conversation Data
- Messages exchanged between your AI agent and your customers via WhatsApp, website widget, or other channels
- Appointment booking details (date, time, customer name, email)
- Conversation metadata (timestamps, channel type, session identifiers)
Usage and Payment Data
- Actions consumed (agent interactions count)
- Subscription plan and billing history
- Payment is processed by Razorpay; we do not store your card details
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create, configure, and power AI agents for your business
- Process customer conversations on your behalf across WhatsApp, website, email, and other channels
- Book appointments on your Google Calendar and send confirmation emails via Gmail
- Send 24-hour appointment reminder emails to your customers
- Track your usage against your subscription plan limits
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Improve our platform, fix bugs, and develop new features
- Send important service-related communications
4. Google Calendar and Gmail Access
Moxenjo integrates with Google Calendar and Gmail to provide appointment booking functionality for your AI agents. Specifically:
- Google Calendar: We read your calendar to check available time slots and create new events when your customers book appointments through your agent.
- Gmail: We send appointment confirmation and reminder emails to your customers from your Gmail account on your behalf.
Important: We only access your Google data when actively processing appointment-related actions. We do not read your existing emails, access contacts, or use your Google account for any purpose beyond appointment management.
Your Google access tokens are stored securely and encrypted. You can disconnect your Google account at any time from your agent dashboard settings.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We never sell your personal data or your customers' data.
We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With third-party services that help us operate the platform (cloud hosting, payment processing via Razorpay, AI model providers). These providers are bound by their own privacy policies.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Google OAuth tokens are stored securely with limited access
- Regular security reviews and updates
While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
Conversation data between your AI agents and your customers is retained as long as your account is active, and is deleted upon account closure.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Disconnect your Google account at any time from your dashboard
- Export your agent configurations and conversation history
- Withdraw consent for data processing (which may limit service functionality)
